By Editorial Team 15/04/2020 Summary The Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Task Force SKK Migas revealed that the Covid-19 pandemic had disrupted many oil and gas exploration activities, including the one in the Merangin Block, carried out by PT Sele Raya Merangin Dua SMRD. SKK Migas’ deputy of operations, Julius Wiratno, stated that SRMD should have conducted a 2D seismic survey on the block, located in Merangin Regency, Julius predicted that the company would push the project back because of the regional administration’s restriction to curb the spread of Covid-19. "The regional government has banned the mobilization of workers in large numbers," Julius told on Tuesday 4/14.
